FROM PROFESSIONAL PARTNERS & CLIENTS
From Mary Patrick, CLE Director, Alaska Bar Association: "Dr. Mundt presented at our annual convention in May of 2012. His presentation entitled "Our Wounded Warriors: Understanding PTSD and How it Fits (or Not) into Your Case" was highly regarded by our attendees, which was comprised of attorneys and judges. Comments on the evaluation forms included:
“This is the best, most important CLE program I have attended in years. Every lawyer and every citizen should be able to attend this program!”
“I have a new understanding of PTSD & how to approach this disorder in my clients and opposing parties.”
“Bring this speaker back to do more programs! THIS WAS AN OUTSTANDING PROGRAM! THANK YOU!”
With that last comment in mind, we are now bringing Dr. Mundt back to Alaska in October. His presentation shows the knowledge and passion that he has on this topic, which makes the attendees eager for more. I highly recommend Dr. Mundt.
From Angela Estes (Program Manager, North Carolina Bar Association):John presented his PTSD in Warzone Veterans CLE program for us in February 2015. Hands down, it was one of the most beneficial programs I've been a part of, both professionally and personally. It was remarkable to see the meaningful participation and relationship he built with the audience in such a short time. Without doubt, John's passion, knowledge and experience working with PTSD patients will have great benefit to our lawyers and their clients. Not only did several say it was one of the best programs they'd attended; but that John also was a great public speaker and presenter. It was a pleasure getting to know John through the process and I look forward to working together again one day.
From Lisa Fitzpatrick (Attorney, Alaska Court System): During the last year (2013), Dr. Mundt has twice presented half-day seminars to members of the Alaska Bar and Judiciary on mental health issues related to PTSD and war-related trauma. His presentations are outstanding by all measures. He was thoroughly prepared for his audience, he was engaging as a speaker, and his command of the subject matter was extraordinary. I could not have been more pleased by the entire experience. And, perhaps more importantly, seminar participants were just as pleased. The evaluations I received following the presentation, to a person, contained rave reviews. Dr. Mundt was a pleasure to work with in all ways and I would not hesitate in recommending him to another audience.
From Jessica Fuchs (Mental Health Association, Montgomery County, Maryland): I would absolutely recommend Dr. Mundt for any organization who is looking to provide a presentation for professionals and service providers who work with military, veterans and their families. Dr. Mundt provided a solid facilitation of "Understanding Warzone Deployment & Homecoming: The Impact of Military Service on the Family." The audience included licensed social workers, licensed professional counselors, and Psychologists who currently work with or are interested in working with the military/veteran population. The feedback on Dr. Mundt's presentation was outstanding. Participants really took away an increased knowledge of military culture and the impact of deployment. Aside from being a fantastic facilitator, who made the day feel more like a conversation rather than an ordinary presentation, Dr. Mundt was very easy to work with during the planning phases of the seminar. He made himself available for questions and elaboration on the agenda's objectives.
From Jeanette Madkins (Texas A&M University, student counseling center):John presented a two day seminar for our staff and community clinicians in June 2012: "Counseling the Returning Student Veteran." His seminar was comprehensive and well-received, with consistent positive feedback describing him as knowledgeable, organized, well resourced, engaging, and effective as an expert and speaker on the subject. He was truly a pleasure to work with.

FROM ATTENDEES AT LIVE CONFERENCES & SEMINARS
Rachell Shapiro (filmmaker, blog:"In Their Boots" (May 2013): "...I attended a seminar on PTSD and returning combat veterans put on by the Mental Health Association. It was an all day seminar given by Dr. John Mundt, a psychologist at the Chicago VA. The audience was made up of mental health practitioners and social workers who wanted to get a better understanding of what veterans were facing and dealing with when coming home, and in turn, how they as mental health practitioners could be better prepared to help. I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I was probably the only one in the room that was not a clinician, therapist or social worker. Would the things Dr. Mundt spoke about go over my head, would I be able to follow along, or would there a lot of clinical terminology that I wouldn’t understand? Would what he says resonate with me as a concerned citizen/filmmaker just as much as it would with the other people in the audience? What I found was more than what I had expected. Dr. Mundt was passionate, energetic (which he would need to be to give a 7hr lecture) informative, and most importantly displayed a true sense of concern and urgency in regards to caring for our veterans."
"I am a Speech Pathologist and the mother of a combat veteran currently serving in Afghanistan. This was invaluable information for me as a clinician and as a parent." Beth Hudson, Speech Pathologist (Internet Webinar)
